With a heritage dating back to 1892, The University of East London (UEL) is a public university located in the London Borough of Newham, England.


UEL is based in two superbly equipped campuses – in Stratford, close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and in London Docklands, near Royal Albert Dock. The University have invested £170 million on facilities in the past decade to create a world-class learning environment. Lecturers from The School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering were part of the team that won UK’s premier visual arts award, the Turner Prize in 2015. 86 per cent of research from the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience were rated either ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent in 2014 by Research Excellence Framework (REF), and 100% satisfaction from student among its courses according to the National Student Survey (NSS) in 2015. Similarly, the School of Psychology received a student satisfaction of 91 per cent on its counselling course following NSS, 2016.
