Founded in 1960, receiving its Royal Charter in 1961, The University of Sussex is a leading higher education and research institution near Brighton, in the south of England. It is world-renowned for the quality of its teaching and research. Sussex combines academic excellence with a unique location on the Southeast coast of the UK.
